*The seal of God*
Alot of times we buy things or receive gifts that have been sealed. Seals on any good make proves the user that that good is worth using. A seal say on a document means that document is legal.
Now if that can happen in our normal life how about the seal that is from God. Did you ever know that you as a child of God you have a seal which is the Holy Spirit. Let’s see by scripture;
21 Now it is God who establishes and confirms us [in joint fellowship] with you in Christ, and who has anointed us [empowering us with the gifts of the Spirit]; 22 it is * He who has also put His seal on us * [that is, He has appropriated us and certified us as His] and has given us the [Holy] Spirit in our hearts as a pledge [like a security deposit to guarantee the fulfillment of His promise of eternal life].
In NIV it reads 2 Corinthians 1:21 Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us,
2 Corinthians 1:22 set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.
So every Child of God has this seal one of the important things being explained in the above scripture are;
*This seal shows/ indentifies you’re you belong that your are for God. Let’s see this Romans 8:9 You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ.
2Tim.2.19 – Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
* Makes us firm through the anointing of by the Holy Spirit. The anointing is more of power. So o everyone ought to have this power to live the life of God
*He is the security meant for the fulfillment of the promises of God.
