*THE MEN AHEAD OF US. *

Simplicity in Christianity comes when you learn to invest time in reading about the men that have gone ahead of you in the faith. It may never be possible to move effectively with God if you cannot take time to study and learn from people ahead of you.

Paul took an individual responsibility of studying all the ministers that ever served God in the days before him and he learned how they did it. He saw what made them prosper and what made them fail and it was a great preservative for his ministry. He tried listing all but could not.

He lists all but the time cannot permit him to exhaust what God has done through them. Basically here,Paul is teaching us how these men operated effectively in faith and had results. So Incase you want to learn faith,you could look at such men in Hebrews 11 because they had a good testimony.

Letting faith aside, there are those who manifested the supernatural, there are those who walked in the miraculous of healing and deliverance. There are those who entertained angels,there are those who walked in divine provision and you must have the humility to learn of them.

Not only in the days of the bible but also in our days,there are ministries that have gone ahead in the teaching of the word and working of miracles. Some pastors have gone ahead in the ministry of healing and love. Some churches are excellent in discipleship and evangelism but do you carry the humility to learn of them?

As a child of God,do not hesitate to learn from men that have gone ahead of you, they may not be your pastors or it may not be the church you pray from but as long as they have more excellent results in one dimension of life,take off time and study to learn from them just as Paul learned and taught faith from men that lived before him.

Dear Lord Jesus,I appreciate you so much for teaching me your word this morning. I thank you for opening my eyes to the truth that I have to learn from men ahead of me. I ask you to open my eyes to people and men you are using and teach me to learn from them in the name of Jesus Christ.
