SPIRITUAL GROWTH

*STUDY SCRIPTURE:*
Galatians 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

*SPIRITUAL GROWTH*
What shows that one has grown spiritually??, It’s when that person is able live and walk in the spirit.
Spiritual growth involves manifesting the fruit of the spirit, *In Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.*

One can’t say they are grown spiritual, when u continue to walk in anger, envy, jealous and fulfilling all desires of the flesh(fornication, adultery)as mentioned in Gal 5: 19-21.

So what shows that a Christian has grown spiritually is by their fruits and the above scripture explains about the fruit of the spirit. Be aware that the bible doesn’t say *fruits* but *the fruit* which means, it’s of one kind. I have seen some people saying that you can have some fruits of the spirit and don’t have the other, no!, That’s wrong. The fruit of the spirit is love and it all comes with others.

In 1 Corinthians 13:4 *Love suffers long [and] is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up*, so u will realize that all other fruits mentioned in Gal 5 are all found love and this is the greatest gift that God has given us and we ought to grow in it.

The beginning of spiritual growth is by reading the word of God, which is the food for the spirit. As we physically feed our flesh, so we ought to feed the spirit by reading the word of God on a daily basis.

Spiritual growth is discerned in a man when the fruit of the spirit has manifested in their life.

Oh Lord, we pray that you will will open the senses of our spirits to discern and know what do, that will help us grow spiritually and bring us to a place where you want us to be.
