*1 Samuel 13:13-14*
_”How foolish!” Samuel exclaimed. “You have not kept the command the Lord your God gave you. Had you kept it,_ *_the Lord would have established your kingdom over Israel forever._*

*Insights*
Sin can hinder the physical manifestation of God’s blessings for our lives and today we see an example of king Saul. Prophet Samuel tells king Saul if he hadn’t sinned [disobeying God’s commands], his kingdom will have been established forever, descendant after descendant. We will probably not have heard of David. Now today unlike in Saul’s time I believe the born again man is already blessed *2 Peter 1:3* and that sin is still one of the big hindrance to the *_physical_* manifestation of God’s blessings for us.

The bible says we who are in Christ Jesus are new creatures *2 Corinthians 5;17*, we born of incorruptible seed *1 Peter 1:23* . The new us and what’s incorruptible is our born again spirits which can’t be defiled by sin. However our soul and flesh are corruptible, they aren’t redeemed and can hinder the flow of God’s abundant blessings from our spirits. Let us therefore not make a habit of sinning *1 John 3:9* as it will cost us the manifestation of God’s blessings in the physical realm.

*PRAYER*
Lord we thank you for your abundant supply of all our needs in the spirit. Help us not to hinder the manifestation of your blessings by abiding in sin. Amen
