IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD TO LIE

*Study scripture: * _Hebrews -6:18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:_

*IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD TO LIE.*

Did you know that it is impossible for God to lie? The surety of our confidence in Jesus Christ is because God cannot lie. The scripture says we need to have a strong consolation as they that have gone to him for refuge to have our hope fulfilled.

The strong consolation we ought to have is because God does not lie. Have you thought of giving up on God? Remember is a God who cannot lie. Refuse to believe all the reports concerning you and believe what God has spoken concerning you.

*_Titus 1:2 -In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;_ * The hope of eternal life we have is kept alive because of God who cannot lie. If it were possible for God to lie,we could not have hope in him.

This life was promised before the foundations of the world and we are sure he shall fulfill it because he cannot lie. Continually have your hope in him because he is not a son of man to lie. Doubt everything man has spoken and believe what God has spoken.

*_Numbers 23:19 -God is not a man, that he should lie;…_ * The difference between man and God is that men tell lies but God speaks the truth. It is in men to lie but God is not a man that he should lie. It is possible to think God lied to you but remember he is not a man.

The Lord is faithful to fulfill every promise he has made concerning you. It does not matter how long he has taken. It matters that he promised to do it. Do not give up or faint concerning what he has said. Do not lose yourself. What makes him God is the reality that he cannot lie.

We have fled for refuge unto the Lord. He is our consolation because he cannot lie. All our hope is in him because it is not in him to lie. Recognize him as a God that is true in all things. Do not doubt his promises concerning you. Cheer up and rejoice.
