HIS WORD THROUGH PREACHING

*Study scripture:* _Titus 1:3 But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour;_

*HIS WORD THROUGH PREACHING.*

For so long, the ministry of prayer and intercession has been at work in church to pray against a lot of evils and ungodly practices but there has been minimal efforts to preach the word. Complete salvation comes when men hear the gospel.

For example, you will pray against the spirits of drunkenness in a community and they will depart into the desert places but unless the people themselves are preached to convert from drinking, they will still enjoy their alcohol it being their nature.

You will pray against the spirits of sexual immorality,homosexuality, secularity etc to leave a person or community and they will depart, but unless the word is extended to this individual through preaching; he will be caught up in the same habit.

Not everyone leaving in sin is under an influence of an evil spirit. You can pray against all spirits and people continue in wickedness. Some are leaving in immorality because of ignorance or by choice in their hearts and minds.

It is not enough to pray against the spirit of poverty. The spirit of poverty will depart but unless people are taught the godly principles of prosperity and their minds changed, they will still be poor.

As a Christian, manifest the gospel through preaching everywhere. Prayer and intercession may not be enough. It is until the word enters into the hearts and minds of these individuals that you can witness a complete change after their eyes are opened.
