Ephesians 6 (KJV)
Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise; That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

*FAMILY 2(The promise).*
From our theme scripture, the it tell us that honouring our parents has a promise.

The promise in this commandment is long life. It is from this that a man is able to live for a hundred years and still look fine just because he obeyed just one commandment.

Many are the times we ask our selves how to make our lives prosper and be great, one of the most important promises that we ought to keep at the back of our minds is to love our parents.

It is the parent that gives you direction in your life. He or she has the ability to impart a blessing or a curse on your life.
