Dimensions of love

_Dear children, let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions._

*Insight*
Today we look at what I have been inspired to call the ” *Dimensions of love* ” both being very crucial in loving one other; love being incomplete if one is taken irrespective of the other. These are *1)* _”the love in work or talk”_ and *2)* _”the love in deed and in truth”_. Note that the scripture didn’t say,” Stop loving in word and instead love in only deed” No! It was rather was stressing that on top of loving in Word let’s go ahead and add deeds done in Truth or sincerity.Thats when it’s real love.

Looking at Jesus’ life and how he loved us, there are times he showed us love by the things He spoke, we have His word which is a constantly encouraging us on. But he went ahead and loved us in deed just as he still does today. Take for example the death on the Cross, the feeding of the 4000 and 5000 and so many miracles he accompanied his teachings of love. You too know that there are times when you want a Word of love and other times something more added to it like a deed which is done in Truth and not hypocrisy. Let’s therefore imitate Christ as we love others in both Word/talk and in Deed done in truth. Amen

*PRAYER*
Father thank for loving us not only in Word but also in Deed. Holy spirit help us discern when to display which dimension of love, teach us strike a Balance as we love others as you have loved us in Jesus’ Name. Amen
