*Theme Scripture*
*Galatians 2:20*
_I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the [life] which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me._
*AN EXCHANGED LIFE*
Praise King Jesus! Another verse that goes really well with our theme scripture is *(Romans 6:4)* which says, _”Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, *even so we also should walk in newness of life* .”_. Hallelujah! Bible talks of things like Death, Baptism, Resurrection and Newness of life.
The point Paul was trying to put across is that God has given us Newness of life; that when we accepted Jesus as lord and personal saviour it was us dying and leaving our old sinful nature on the Cross and when we received Baptism, it was symbolic of us being buried (the essence of being submerged into water) and then being raised from the dead ( the essence of being emerged out of the Waters)
” *_The life you received when you came to Jesus was not a Transformed life but an Exchanged life_* ” You may not have felt a goose bump on your body but the spiritual reality is that you shared in the death and resurrection of our lord Jesus Christ and its no longer you who lives but Christ lives in you. The life you have is Zoe; the life of God. Your mind may need transformation ( *Romans 12;1-2* ) but the the life in you is already of God and He doesn’t need to transform you; he calls you New ( *2 Corinthians 5;17* ) because its no longer you who lives but Christ. Religion my teach Transformation but the Gospel and message of the Cross speaks entirely of an exchanged Life.
