“that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to *you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the full true knowledge of Him,* ”
— Eph 1:17 (VW)
*Of wisdom.*
Why would the Apostle Paul start with the Spirit of Wisdom? Because it’s of uttermost value that one knows how to rightly apply the revelation one has got about Christ.
To a certain degree of maturing in God, it’s mandatory for a man despite having a full revelation of who Christ is, to by wisdom know whether it’s right to utter it out to the Saints or not.
Apostle Paul was addressing believers whose love for all Saints had come to his notice and as a man grown in God, he found it wise to pray for the church in Ephesus to have the Spirit of wisdom. As one grows in God, especially to a man whose steps are ordered by love, it’s easy to access greater doors in the revelation of who Christ is! So the Spirit of wisdom comes in handy even more to help us walk in love even after attaining this revelation in the knowledge of him.
Child of God have you grown by love to unlock deeper revelations in him or do we know of someone getting deeper in God: it’s wise that we pray for by the Spirit of wisdom to know when to and not to speak.
This helps us not to offend in our speech (James 3:13), spare our neck (Proverbs 3:21-22) and much more help us edify the body and not to split it. Because God’s wisdom is peaceable (James 3:17). The Spirit of wisdom, Hallelujah!

Abba Father! thank you for this truth. I bless you because for the great call you have upon my life you make this known. By the Spirit of wisdom, I edify the Body. There’s no strife nor pride in my speech, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
