*THE ENEMY’s FLATTERY AND HOW TO OVERCOME IT*

Daniel 11 contains one of the most specifically fulfilled Prophecies of the Bible predicting History of over 375 years BC and Daniel received this prophecy from an Angel. In summary, it talks of 4 kings who where all evil and by the time our theme scripture is taken into account it was during the reign of Antiochus Epiphanes who turned to Jerusalem, divided its people so much some forsook their Covenant with God and took on Greek cultures.

The bible says from our theme scripture that as a result of being evil; *those who did wickedly against God’s Covenant in Jerusalem at the time he corrupted with flattery* . _” *Flattery* ” means an excessive and insincere praise, given especially to further one’s own interests._ Everytime men start to abound in iniquity; sin, the enemy’s immediate Response is to Flatter them on and on unto their destruction. He hasn’t changed his tactics even a single bit.

And don’t be tempted to think this is only for the unbelievers or they who don’t know God but the enemy has also crept into the body of Christ, into God’s covenant people and caused many of us to start to firstly go against what God’s Word plainly teaches as evil which is ideally (Doing wickedly against the Covenant) and to start to think ourselves more highly than we ought too ( *Romans 12;3b* ), teaching Doctrines of Demons ( *1 Timothy 4:1* ), preaching another Gospel ( *Galatians 1:8* ) and he just flatters us on and on unto our destruction.

Child of God, its time you evaluate your relationship with God. God is love ( *1 John 4;16* ) and Love rejoices not in iniquity *(1 Cor 13;6* ). Are you still operating and living by God’s Word? Are you still standing for what the bible teaches is right and not what society says is acceptable? Thanks be to God He has left us with a solution to dealing with the Devil’s flattery and schemes. *_The way we will do it is by knowing God which will increase our Strength and cause us to do Great Exploits_. Amen*
