EFFECTUAL PRAYER

Jeremiah 29:13 (KJV)
And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

*EFFECTUAL PRAYER*
When you pray to God, you must ensure to do so in the way that best works for you. What do I mean by this?

There are Christians whose prayer lives are nothing more than an imitation of how some other Christian pray. Because they saw acirtain brother praying while clutching his chest, they adopted that as a method of prayer. Some heard that another sister wakes up at 3am every morning to pray, and assumed that prayers are best heard by God at 3am.

You cannot build your relationship with God by copying another man’s relationship with Him. You must understand that each of us is extremely unique at It is with this very uniqueness that God expects us to approach Him.  

Some people are comfortable praying early in the morning, others are more comfortable doing so late in the evening. Some prefer to pace up and down, others prefer to sit still. Some prefer to lie down, some prefer to stand. 

In prayer, always remember that God is not interested in the semantics or the ways but in the heart that prays. Be as authentic as you can be, that way, your heart will surely pray.
