*Study scripture:* _Luke 17:6 – And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you._

*THE WORKING OF FAITH 4*

Faith is basic in a christian relationship with God. It is important to perceive and know how to make ones faith work. The only problem in the new testament is lack of knowledge and existence of unbelief in many.

In the old testament, their limitation towards relating with God was sin. But in the new testament, Jesus condemned sin on the tree in his body. So the issue to a new testament creation is lack of faith and knowledge. Sin was done away.

Many still think the reason as to why they are failing and are full of frustrations is because of sin. So they spend all their time in prayer trying to plead for the mercies of God but the reality is that faith is the issue.

Jesus said you shall tell the tree to be plucked up by the roots and it should obey you. Jesus’ teaching about faith is that it addresses the issue. You command what you do not want to disappear and it should obey you. He told the tree itself to be plucked up.

The scripture says *”it should obey”.* It is in the nature of all things to hearken and respond to the authority God has placed in you. Anything you talk to is designed to submit to your authority and power in Christ. Have that boldness.

Jesus continually exercised himself in such a conscience that all things were designed to respond to and should obey him. That is why he continually spoke to seas, trees, infirmities,demons and all had to obey him. Carry the same boldness child of God.

Jesus said all things should obey you. When you talk to anything, understand it is in its nature to submit to your authority child of God. Talk to your body, career, relationship, family, marriage, ministry and everything around you. They all should obey you.

I speak to all limitations in my life to come to an end in the name of Jesus. I command an increase upon my life. Am increasing in blessings and functioning in complete liberty and freedom in the name of Jesus.
