*GOOD STEWARDSHIP*

What does it mean to be a good steward? Or what does it mean to be faithful stewards. Firstly, a Steward is a person who has been entrusted with the master’s things to keep. He is not the owner but he is only in charge. A Steward must be willing to release those things when the master requests.

When we speak of stewardship in the spirit, it means God has entrusted you with things to keep for him. Anytime he can request for them. Financial stewardship means the money you have actually belongs to God. It appears to be yours but God is the owner.

The grace you carry upon your life is not yours. You are only a Steward. You are a keeper of that grace. God is the owner and in charge of it. You are a keeper of that annointing, mysteries, revelation and it’s God who has the power over it.

*_1Corinthians 4:2 – Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful._* The faithfulness of a Steward is the ability of that man to put to work the things the master kept with him to profit and replenishing. If it’s Money, a good steward must use it to the profiting of the people.

Apostle Peter calls upon the church to be faithful and good stewards of the grace of God. Your faithfulness is when you learn to use that grace to minister to fellow saints in church. The church must be a beneficiary of the grace of God upon you.

If you are not using the things God has given to you to minister to the saints,you are an unfaithful steward. A good steward is a man that uses everything God has given him to minister and build the body of Christ.

The manifold grace of God means the grace availed to us in many dimensions. Financial grace, health grace, teaching grace, prayer and supplication grace etc. And your faithfulness and goodness as a Steward is when the men around you are built and established through the grace and glory upon your life.

In stewardship,the elementary place of your faithfulness is when you learn to minister to other men with that grace God has placed upon you. Use everything God has given you to minister and edify someone. It is the genesis of good stewardship.

I thank you Holy spirit for the office of stewardship you have given to me. I am a minister of the manifold grace of God in all things to the glory of God.
