THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD

*Study scripture:* _1Corinthians 15:34 – Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame._

*THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD*

It is important to know which kind of knowledge a man carries. There are many who have a lot of knowledge about football,but not the word of God. Many have a lot of knowledge about science, academics, politics, fashion etc but are not carrying the knowledge of God.

This was a challenge in the Corinthian church that many saints did not have the knowledge of God in them. Their conversations did not carry any weight of the knowledge of the spirit and that was the cause of many doubts even concerning the resurrection.

Because of their unawareness of how God works,the apostle warns and tells them that; *_1Corinthians.15.33 – Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners._* These communications were a result of the abundance of false knowledge they had concerning God. They were experts in other things but babies in the things of God and ended up being corrupted.

*_1Corinthians 8.7 – Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge:…_* There is a kind of knowledge that is supposed to be in all men. But unfortunately,the scripture says that some do not have this knowledge. And this is the knowledge of God.

*_Proverbs .19:2 – Also, that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good; and he that hasteth with his feet sinneth._* When the soul of a man does not have knowledge,it is the genesis of its perishing. The bible says such a man hastens to sin and definitely perishes due to a lack of knowledge.

Invest your time in accumulating the knowledge of God in your life. The knowledge you are supposed to carry is about the things of God and what he can do. This knowledge is through his son Jesus Christ.

Study the word of God continually,sit under sermons, listen to audios of the word of God and grow your soul in the word of God. Your soul is only redeemed and saved by the knowledge of God. That is what gives peace, grace and joy to your soul.

Increase the knowledge of God continually in your life always. Do not only have knowledge about soccer or food or technology. The priority of knowledge you need firstly is the revelational knowledge of God. Invest your time in that always.

I receive the revelation of the knowledge of God in my spirit in the name of Jesus Christ. Grace and peace is multiplied upon my life through the knowledge of God always. Am a partaker of the divine nature to the glory of God.
