The Christian lifestyle

*The Christian lifestyle*
How did we recieve Christ? We heard the gospel of salvation, acknowledged that by our right deeds we couldn’t fulfill righteousness and therefore with faith in our hearts, we confessed with our mouths that Jesus is Lord.[Romans 10:8-10].

It’s is by faith in God’s righteousness that we were made right before, therefore Paul calls us that as we received Christ (by faith), let’s apply no other requirement to our christian lifestyle but it’s that very same Faith that we should use to grow in God.

Countless times did Paul rebuke the churches, for having gone about to establish their christianity by works, though having started in faith and grace. This is a common issue with us today just like those churches, having recieved Christ with faith, we go on to believe that now we have to work out our salvation by our right acts inorder for us to qualify before God. Paul calls this being foolish! [Galatians 3:1-3].

The Christian lifestyle therefore should be built on God’s unmerited favor (grace) and faith, this is how we please God. That same Faith with which we confessed Jesus is the same Faith we access our healing, divine provision, divine prosperity and all our needs. God’s will is that we look not on what we’ve done but what He has done, this is our lifestyle and this is our walk in Christ. Hallelujah!
