OF WISE MEN

OF WISE MEN.*

_Daniel 4:5-7 KJV 5 I saw a dream which made me afraid, and the thoughts upon my bed and the visions of my head troubled me. 6 *Therefore made I a decree to bring in all the wise men of Babylon before me*, that they might make known unto me the interpretation of the dream. 7 *Then came in the magicians, the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers:* and I told the dream before them; but they did not make known unto me the interpretation thereof._

Nebuchadnezzar had a dream and that dream troubled his mind, then scriptures tell us that he made a decree to bring in all the wise men of Babylon that they may interprete for him the dream.

Now which kind of men did Nebuchadnezzar refer to as wise men? When we look into the seventh verse of Daniel 4, we realise that all the men that came in as wise men were spiritual men. So what king Nebuchadnezzar defined as wise men were men who understood spiritual realities.

A wise man is not a man who understands mathematics, physics, chemistry, geography etc after the physical forms. A wise man is he who understands the spirituality of a thing. In a simple case, a wise man is a man who operates by spiritual realities.

A man on earth, it doesn’t matter what mathematics they can calculate, it doesn’t matter what physics they understand, it doesn’t matter what engineering they can apply, as long as they are not spiritual in their understanding, they are not wise. That’s why many get stuck with their first class, that’s why many get stuck with their titles hence they end up seeking for counsel from witch doctors, pastors because it will always take you back to the spirit world.

Everytime you are seeking for a counsellor, seek men who are spiritual. Nebuchadnezzar understood this reality. He knew what made men wise was not in the physical forms of things. He knew that wise men are men who carry a spiritual understanding of things irrespective of their physical state.

For a Christian, what makes you wise is when you understand spiritual things by the word of God. The word of God has a way he defines the things of the spirit. So when you understand what the word of God says concerning things then you are wise because the word is spirit and is life.

To be wise in the kingdom of God is to respond according to how the word of God defines things both physical and spiritual. To respond by revelation of the word of God. It is to see everything around you with the eyes of the word and not the eyes of your emotions or flesh.

In the kingdom of God and of light when you see by the word of God then you are a wise man. When you respond by the word of God then you are wise in the kingdom because those who respond by the word of God respond spiritually.
The response by the word of God is always a spiritual response hallelujah glory to God.
