BEING SEPARATED

Galatians 1:15 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace,
16 to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately confer with flesh and blood,

For a time I have known Christ I realized that God can’t use you mighty until He has separated you from certain things. From the above scripture, we see that this separation is done before one is born but it’s manifestation happens when the physical calling happens.
Apostle Paul continues to say that when he was called, he didn’t confer to flesh and blood that is to what he knew and the customs of the Jews. Remember this guy way a Pharisee and had studied so much!
Apostle Peter couldn’t preach to the Gentiles because he was so much conformed to the traditional beliefs and religion( the law of Moses). Then apostle Paul who caught the revelation plainly and adjusted his mind to learn found out that the message that he was preaching to the gentiles was breaking the laws of Moses but fulfilling them through the grace of God.
There is much in God and sometimes we need to adjust our minds and think about what we have heard not just withholding ourselves to the limited things that we know from the past or as we grow up.

NUGGET
It takes an open mind and discernment that God has called you and separated you to a certain kind of message for a season. We have all been called differently, don’t see someone and admire their calling but seek God to know exactly what you were called for!
