“ _Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called_ :”
— Jude 1:1 (KJV)
*An Anointed Sibling*
Its until a man has grown in revelation of God’s nature, that a man can submit to his biological brother or sister when they are elevated to place of greatness in God.
This is what we learn from Jude and James the brothers of Jesus. See, God is no respecter of persons, he raises men in accordance to his purposes and plan for the time.
At first, it was hard for Jude, James and Mary to fully acknowledge what Jesus’ purpose on earth was. (Matthew 12:46-50).
This is the same syndrome Esau had over his brother Jacob. Having lost his birthrights and inheritance; it was hard for him to accept that Jacob is above him in God’s place. However because of this syndrome, Esau failed to recognize an escape route God had set for him (Esau) to be reconciled to God.[Gen 27:40] Esau was to serve his brother, so that he could break the yoke or curse on him. It was just submission required.
Because of failure to acknowledge God’s choice for David, his brothers couldn’t recognize that through David, God would redeem not only their family but the whole of Israel as a nation. Oh that our eyes be open, that we see past the Brothers whose diapers we changed, or past the children whose weaknesses we witnessed. Submit to the anointed one of God, he carries not only redemption for your family but the world as a whole. Hallelujah!

*Prayer*
Abba Father, I thank you for this knowledge. I fail not to recognize that your thoughts are beyond human understanding and you are not a respecter of persons. I submit to every man with whom you have placed the redemption of times, with love and understanding. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
