ZION THE CITY OF GOD 2

*Study scripture:* _Psalms 87:1 – His foundation is in the holy mountains.- The LORD loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.- Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah._*

*ZION THE CITY OF GOD 2*

The bible speaks of the Holy mountains. What are the Holy mountains? *_Hebrews 12:22 – But ye are come unto mount Sion, unto the city of the living God…_* The Holy mountain is Zion which also is God’s dwelling city.

Before the coming of Jesus,Zion was a physical city that belonged to David, *_2 Samuel 5:7 – Nevertheless David took the strong hold of Zion: the same is the city of David._* The bible calls Jesus a son of David as well according to the flesh. This means Jesus inherited and came in a lineage of God’s covenant with David.

*_Romans 1.3-4 – Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;- And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:_* The resurrection of Jesus Christ was a declaration of his Holiness. That is what made Zion the spiritual city of the great king.

When you believed in the death and resurrection of Jesus,the bible says righteousness was given to you. His death was because he was delivered for your sin and his resurrection was the genesis of your righteousness. You became the righteousness of God in Christ.

The Lord loves the gates of Zion. Gates permit the entrance of a man into a place. Whoever participates in the preaching of the gospel is a gate unto Zion because through him, many people are saved have access to this great city. You are a gate to God’s kingdom.

Be awakened to the reality that God has made you a channel to men for entering the kingdom of God. The Lord loves preachers of the gospel and whoever participates in soul winning and evangelism. Such men are gates to the holy city of God.

In this city, only glorious things are spoken of us. No one loves poverty. No one loves to be sick. No one loves to be a failure. No one loves to be called ugly. No one loves to be destroyed. This means all these are not glorious.

Decree only glorious things upon your life. Since success is glorious, speak success upon you. Since prosperity is glorious, speak prosperity upon you. Sickness is not glorious,do not decree sickness upon your life. Only decree Wonderful things upon your life, ministry and family. The city of Zion is a city of glory.

Glorious things are spoken of me wherever I go. I am full of the Holy spirit. My family is glorious and everything I do prospers. I am a dweller and inhabitant of Zion in the name of Jesus Christ.
