WHEN YOU COME TO YOURSELF

*Study scripture: * _Luke 15:17-18 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,_

The common story of the prodigal son tells us how he asked for inheritance from his father but rather wasted it with riotous living than using it for profiting. It is significant of men God has blessed and have mishandled the things entrusted to them.

As Christians,there are times where by several individuals feel a lot of isolation because they believe they have done a lot against the Lord. But you ought to come to yourself and your true nature. When you come to yourself,you do not leave church or avoid fellowship but rather come to God.

When the prodigal son came to himself,he said I will go to my father. The true nature in the son is what propelled him to go to his father. The true reality of your person is that unction that causes you to go to God in every circumstance.

When you come to yourself in finances, you will go to your father to deal with your financial life. When you come to yourself in times of adversity,you will say to yourself that I will go to my father. Realising who you are causes to approach God.

Arise and go to your father. The true nature of God upon your life is what causes you to arise and go to him regardless of how far you have fallen. Any conviction within you that does not cause you to come back to the father is not of God,but of the evil one.

When you come to yourself,you shall start to recognize that actually everything that has been snatching you out of God’s presence is not of God. Do not let anything speak you out of God’s presence,come to yourself and go to God alone.

Dear Lord Jesus, I thank you for the blessing of your word this morning that has taught me that when I come to myself,I arise and come to you. I thank you because you give me ability and revelation to recognize the person in me that seeks after you and I will continually seek you only in the name of Jesus Christ.
