WHEN THE RIGHTEOUS PRAY

*Study scripture: * _1 Peter 3:12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil._

*WHEN THE RIGHTEOUS PRAY. *

Everyone in this world prays but not everyone is heard of God when they pray. There are prayers that God does not answer but he answers the prayers of a man that is righteous.

Righteousness is the guarantee of God hearing and answering your prayers. When you became born again, you received the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus. Jesus became sin that you may become the righteousness of God in him.

*_2 Corinthians 5:21-For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him._* Now that you have received righteousness by faith, you ought to be bold to pray because God answers your prayers always. Do not have doubt in the place of prayer.

*_John 9:31-Now we know that God heareth not sinners…_* While you were still a sinner, God couldn’t hear your prayers. But the blood of Jesus gave you righteousness and you are now accepted before him.

*_James 5:16 -…The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much._* All prayers may have an effect but it is different when a righteous man prays. The prayer of a righteous man has tremendous effect and avails a lot of power in the spirit.

Be bold to stand before the closet and pray. Your prayer causes a lot of effect on the circumstances of life. Let not your heart deceive to you that God cannot hear you. You are the righteousness of God and his ears are open to your prayers.
