*WE HAVE AN INHERITANCE*
In 1 Samuel 2:8, the Bible says, “He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s, and he hath set the world upon them.”

This scripture has been religiously used as a bait for Christians who are endlessly hoping to change their dire financial status and attain some wealth as promised by God.

This doctrine has had the tragic consequence of depriving many children of God of their true identity. While quoting it, some ministers assume that God is raising believers out of dust and causing them to inherit glory.

Where then does such teaching leave the fact that He says in 2 Corinthians 8:9 that for your sakes He became poor, that ye through His poverty might be rich? Where does it leave the fact that He says in 2 Peter 1:3 that He has given you everything that pertains to life and godliness?

How does such a teaching explain the fact that we have been made kings and priests unto the Most High God? (Revelation 1:6).

As a child of the King, you have an inheritance. Exclude yourself from among the beggars and the poor. God is not merely raising you to sit among the princes, you are seated with Him as a partaker of His glory.

Hallelujah!

Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. Thank You for who I am. I know and understand my spiritual identity and live conscious of it, every day of my life. I am rich and prosperous, I am a king and reign on this earth. I am above and never beneath, the head only and never a tail, to the glory of Your name, Amen.
