True strength

“That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;”
— Ephesians 3:16 (KJV)
*True strength.*
The true environment of a Born again is not the outside but from within his spirit. However much things in the physical world may not be as pleasant as they should be, if a man’s spirit is found strong surely that man will stand the test of time.

The body depends on food for strength, the soul depends on emotions and the Spirit depends on the Holy spirit impact on it. For a Born again man, God has created us in such a way that if fed rightly, our spirits have much influence on our victory and our moods, than the body and soul which are usually dependant on senses. Unlike the non believers whose spirit hasn’t been quickened for them to start deriving strength from it.

While nearing death, Jesus was disturbed in both his soul and body because he feared death [Hebrews 5:7], but because his life is surely dependant on his spirit, scriptures says in Gethsemane he prayed and lo, an Angel came to strengthen him [Luke 22:41-43]. From that moment he faced death with boldness, because his soul and spirit were now in sync, to the fact that his redeemer would save him from death

*However, how can I find strength from my spirit*? Jesus prayed in Gethsemane and Paul prayed for the saints in our theme scripture. Likewise it’s truth that if a man is going through a situation and he listens to a teaching or studies God’s word, that man can have peace and strength, Why! Because while studying and listening to God’s word, we silence our physical strength which is weaker for a greater strength in our spirits. Our spirits already have the strength we need to pass through a given situation [2 Peter 1:3] and we give it opportunity to operate when we give it it’s food (the word) and pray as well. Hallelujah!

*Confession*
Am strong in faith by God’s word, my world is not limited to what I see and feel, but in prayer I communicate the victory I have in my spirit, to God’s glory. Amen.
