*Study scripture:* _Romans 10:17 – So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God._
*THE WORKING OF FAITH 6.*
Your life is a total sum of the things you have grown up hearing. Everyone in this world is defined by the kind of knowledge he has grown up being exposed to. It matters what you hear.
What you hear will define the background of your belief. Jesus told his disciples *_Mark 4:24 – And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear:…_* and also *_Luke.8:18 – Take heed therefore how ye hear:…_* There are two things; *_what_* and *_how_* you hear.
But if you want to grow your faith,a consistent experience of the word is enough. Faith just comes to your spirit. No one is going to pray faith upon your life. Neither will you fast to receive faith. You can fast to gain a boldness of the spirit but not faith.
Many christians continuously pray for God to give them faith. They ask and tell God to increase their faith just as the apostles did to Christ; *_Luke.17:5 – And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith._* This was the mind of the apostles but it was impossible. God will never increase your faith.
Faith is birthed into your spirit when you have an experience with the word by revelation. Do not go to prayer asking for faith because it will never come to you. Listen to sermons and read devotions. Sit with brothers and sisters and be built in the word.
There are many words in this world. There are words from your career, uncle, television, radio stations, friends etc. But all those Will never build your faith. If you want to build your faith, only listen to the word of God.
*_Glory to God!!_*
*Further study:*
Romans 10:11-16
Galatians 2:22
*Nugget:*
It is only the word of God which will grow your faith. You must be careful the things that you hear and how you interpret them. The only right things supposed to come to your spirit is the word of God.
*_Hallelujah!!_*
*Prayer*
I thank you Lord for the revelation of faith in my spirit. I am quickened to understand the word of God,to grow my faith and to bring forth fruit in the name of Jesus.
Amen
