*Study scripture:*
Hebrews 4:12 *For the word of God [is] living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.*
*THE WORD OF GOD*
Many times Christians read the Bible which is the word of God but some of us haven’t come to a full understanding of what the word of God can do in our lives, in the above scripture we see that the word of God is Living and powerful, that means that where the word of God is spoken, life is created because of the power that word carries.
Science tells us that there is both living and non living things but when God was creating, He never created anything like non- living. Because of this mindset we have limited what the word of God can do in our life because we are thinking that somethings are non living and won’t hear the words that are spoken.
In Luke 19:40 *But He answered and said to them, “I tell you that if these should keep silent, the stones would immediately cry out.”*, Have you ever asked yourself how the stones were going to worship the Lord if they are non living things??
The word of God gives life to everything it touches, that’s why when Jesus was sending his disciples in Mark 16:15 And He said to them, *”Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.*, He didn’t say go and preach to every person, he said to every creature. That means that every creation hears the word and has life.
And we have this advantage that the word of God is with in us, John 7:38 *He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”*
In you there is life which you flows and you ought to give it out to others through the words that you speak, the words we speak can either bring life or death (proverbs 18:21). It’s very important to be careful with every word that you speak because they either bring life or death(destruction)
you carry the character of God!
