The power of the tongue

STUDY SCRIPTURE
Proverbs 18:21(KJV)
Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

The power of the tongue.
We see from our theme scripture that in the tongue God has placed the power of death and life. Some times we have had people talk about certain statement like you posses what you confess. And this is indeed true because the tongue gives out what has been to a man’s heart.

In Genesis 1:3 (KJV)“And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.”we see God speaking and we get to learn of how things were created not by hands but only by a word from he spoke.

In the same way as a child of God, you have to be mindful of the things you speake because you are either giving or taking life.
Many are the times we face challenges and then we make Lamentations or statements like “I can’t come out of this or this disease is going to kill me” but in the way of doing so you are giving that situation life and power over your life.
So as co-creators with God, let us mind about the words that come out of our tongue for the glory of God.
