STUDY SCRIPTURE
John 1:5 (KJV)
And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

THE POWER OF LIGHT.
We well know that in a battle between light and darkness, darkness can never stand a chance because it can not stop or sieze light.

In an instance when you walk in a dark room and you switch on the lights, darkness does not struggle with light instead it just ceases.

This means that darkness has no power over the light. It is simply the absence of light that causes darkness. And it means when light gets into a place, darkness just flees.

Psalms 119:130 (KJV) “The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.”
 
This means that if there is any form of darkness you are struggling with, then you just need the light (the word) so that it can dispense away the darkness.
