*The ministry of the Holy Spirit 2*
John.16.7 – Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
John.16.8 – And when he is come, he will *reprove* the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
We are living in times when many have eyes but cannot see in otherwords they cannot perceive the things they behold even in the circles of Christianity. When you study scriptures you realize that one of the primary ministration of the holy spirit is to cause us to see.
A man without the Holy Ghost is a blind man. He may not know it but that’s what blindness is all
about. A blind man is not just someone who cannot see, well he can see but all he sees is darkness.
It’s the same thing in the realm of the spirit, a blind man in that realm is one who doesn’t
know the things of the spirit, he can’t see the things of the Spirit of God because such things can only be spiritually discerned.
From our theme scripture today, the word ‘reprove’ is the same as ‘to correct, originally it derives from two Latin terms interpreted as *causing to see* so words like illumination, reproof all share the same interpretation according to their context in the New testament whereby He causes the individuals to ‘see’ (understand) truth.
So as a man walks with the Holy Spirit, their vision in God begins to change; it all shifts for the good because the holy spirit shades light on what is hidden. holding the word of God in unrighteousness begins when a man is interpreting Scriptures carnally with out the teaching of the holy spirit. He alone can give us the freshness hidden in the word because he is the very breathe of God.
*hallelujah!!*
*Further study* John 14:26, Acts 1:8, Ephesians 1:13
*Nugget:* A man without the Holy Ghost is a blind man. When you study scriptures you realize that one of the primary ministration of the holy spirit is to cause us to see.
*Confession* Loving Father I thank you for the person of the holy spirit, my vision in you changes, I see things clearly as I ought to see. In Jesus name, Amen!
