Ps.147.11 – The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.
*The Mercy of God*
It is so important in the Christian faith that a believer holds an understanding of God’s Mercy towards them because this was primarily the best way God would deal with every consequence of Man’s fall.
God has established and preordained everything to function according to his Mercy; even when his word comes to you, it comes wrapped up in God’s mercy. Ps.89.14 – Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: *mercy and truth shall go before thy face.*
God has called us to function in view of his mercy, you pray and fast in view of his mercy, you give in view of his mercy, you position yourself for success in view of his mercy, you serve and minister in view of his mercy because that’s how we evoke the Power of God. Our prayers and his mercy cannot be separated, Ps.4.1 – Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; *have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.* The Psalmist knew God could only hear his Prayer because he is the God of mercy.
The Israelites could just gather in the times of King David to sing about the Mercy of God, that’s the mind of a new creation reality. Because of Mercy, we have hope in the salvation of Men. No man understands this refuses to preach the Gospel because the Mercy of God gives us a complete experience of the death by which Christ died.
*Hallelujah*

*Nugget* the quickening of the spirit comes because one has obtained mercy, never approach God outside the convictions of his Mercy because he has chosen to function in the atmosphere of mercy.
*Prayer* My loving Father I thank you for your tender mercies, thankyou for your goodness and loving kindness towards me. I’m now assured of better things that accompany salvation because of the riches of your mercies. In Jesus’ name, Amen
