THE LOVE OF GOD

*Study scripture: * _1 John 4:9-10 God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins._

*THE LOVE OF GOD*

Our study scripture draws us into an understanding of what the love of God is; God is love and is the author of love. God’s love is so pure and true. He sent His only begotten son to come and die for our sins even when we didn’t love Him or cherish Him the way He did.

If one supposedly says that they know God, they have to be valuing love as our Father does as Apostle John expresses it. *_1 John 4:8-But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love._*

God reckons us to love one another, because God is love. We ought to love not only by just saying the words but also expressing the love in our actions. Preaching the gospel of truth, carrying out evangelism, caring for someone out there can be expressions of the love of God.

Practice being helpful, visiting the sick/elderly, represent the Christ like nature in earth which is love.
Therefore the Lord will bless us and increase shall happen in our lands.

The love of God stays forever and He is faithful till the end of time. *_1 Chronicles 16:34- Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever._ *
I encourage us all to walk in love, grow in love with Christ inorder to fully represent the love of God to the world.
