The Lord condemns

*1Kings 21:17-19 NKJV*

17 – Then the word of the LORD came to Elijah the Tishbite, saying,
18 – “Arise, go down to meet Ahab king of Israel, who lives in Samaria. There he is, in the vineyard of Naboth, where he has gone down to take possession of it.
19 – You shall speak to him, saying, “Thus says the LORD: “Have you murdered and also taken possession?”‘ And you shall speak to him, saying, “Thus says the LORD: “In the place where dogs licked the blood of Naboth, dogs shall lick your blood, even yours.””‘

*Theme: The Lord condemns*

From the previous verses after the death of Naboth , king Ahab went to vineyard of Naboth to take possession of it .
But this didn’t make God happy and by that God condemned king Ahab when His word came to Elijah the Tishbite saying
“Arise, go down to meet Ahab king of Israel, who lives in Samaria. There he is, in the vineyard of Naboth, where he has gone down to take possession of it. And since king Ahab had murdered Naboth , God told him that in the place where dogs licked the blood of Naboth , the dogs shall lick his blood too because he had sold himself to do what is evil in the sight of God.
Therefore as children of God we have to always not sell ourselves to doing evil things in the sight of our God . If we do evil , the Lord will condemn us just like He condemned king Ahab .
We ought to live in peace with one another as brethren just as the word of the Lord speaks to us and we should keep doing only good things before the sight of God.
