THE GOSPEL 2

*Study scripture:* _Luke 10:2 – Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest._

*THE GOSPEL 2*

Jesus has done everything required for us and the whole world to be saved. There is nothing else that ought to be done to have the world saved. Concerning the gospel,he commanded us to ask for more labourers.

It is never possible to pray for the salvation of souls. Jesus commanded us to ask for more labourers. What the kingdom of God now requires is not a prayer for men to be saved but rather more labourers. The harvest is ready.

Consider a man that has a coffee plantation or maize plantation. Its time of harvest is ready and he needs to get them out of the plantation. What he needs at that time are more labourers.

He does not need to pray to God for rain. Neither does he need to increase the amount of the harvest. All he needs is have men gather the fruit that is ready. That is all you need to ask for.

Ask God for more labourers. Encourage your friends to participate in the winning of souls to the kingdom. Tell someone about why the gospel must be preached.

All we need to pray for in these last days are not souls. We need to ask for more labourers. Become an active member of the Evangelism group of your church.

The only thing required currently in the church are more labourers. Take off time in prayer and ask God to raise more labourers. Encourage someone to be part of soul winning to the glory of God.

I bless your name Jesus for you are raising more labourers. We are becoming effective and sufficient in the work of expanding your kingdom in Jesus’ name.
