8 – And she wrote letters in Ahab’s name, sealed them with his seal, and sent the letters to the elders and the nobles who were dwelling in the city with Naboth.
9 – She wrote in the letters, saying, 4 Proclaim a fast, and seat Naboth with high honor among the people;
10 – and seat two men, scoundrels, before him to bear witness against him, saying, You have blasphemed God and the king. Then take him out, and stone him, that he may die.

From verse 1 of this chapter we see the interaction between two men , Naboth the jezreelite who had a vineyard in jezreel besides the palace of Ahab the king of Samaria .
So king Ahab approached Naboth and told him , give me your vineyard that I may have it for vegetable garden because it was near to his house and I will give you a better vineyard for it or if it seems good to you , I will give you its value of money . But Naboth answered by saying the Lord forbid that I should give you the inheritance of my fathers. This annoyed king Ahab to an extent of not eating food . This made jezebel the wife to king Ahab to write a false letters in Ahab’s name to the elders and the nobles who were dwelling in city with Naboth telling them to fast and seat Naboth with high honour among people and seat two men , scoundrels before him to bear witness against him saying , you have blasphemed God and the king .Then take him out and stone him to die.
But we see She was telling a lie to the elders and the nobles because Naboth was innocent and brought death of Naboth because elders and nobles followed the instructions which were in the letters in the gain of vineyard .
Therefore as children of God we should not force things to come our way because if we do that we shall end breaking up the laws of our God for example telling lies just like jezebel , stealing , name it . So we ought to do things which are in series with our God’s will .
