The commands in the journey

*Study scripture*
1 Kings 9:4-5 (KJV)
_And if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, *to do according to all that I have commanded thee,* and wilt keep my statutes and my judgments: Then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom upon Israel for ever, as I promised to David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel._

*Theme* : *The commands in the journey.*
With increased knowledge in our generation, we realize that the salvation journey is more than an escape route from hell, rather a participation in God’s eternal plan, that is: redemption for all mankind. That’s where we draw a conclusion that we are all called, and those that respond we say they are the chosen. (Matthew 22:14)

However in the life of ministry as to those that respond to the call, there are dealings or commands as our theme scripture has rendered. Solomon the king in his reign had commands both from the law and God’s voice. We can relate with Solomon because just like him we have our very own responsibility (2 Cor 5:18), we are ambassadors of Christ. But in this ministry, there are dealings and commands God gives unto us with an aim to build a character required for our task. Take an example our father Abraham, he was required to slay his own son, so as to build faith. The disciples were commanded to bring the 5 loaves and 2 fish for the feeding of the a thousand, this was all to build a character worth and required for the assignments a head. (Mark 6:34-42)

As dear servants and partakers in this so great a ministry of the Gospel, there are commands that always come to our Spirits, through our leaders and through the word all but to build that character worthy of the calling before us. The response to these commands is always to catapult the man of God to a certain level in God, so its wisdom to heed those commands, so that our kingdoms, ministries, families, name it, have more results than normal, HALLELUJAH.

*Prayer*
Loving father and faithful master, thank you for the honor to fully participate in your redemption plan. With the eyes of my understanding being enlightened, I am alert to the commands and dealings you have for the greater cause, I learn to trust you more than my abilities and experience, in Jesus’, AMEN.
