The Believers Authority

*Study scripture:*
Luke10:19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. (NKJV)

*The Believers Authority*
Authority is the power to put things in order or enforce obedience.

From our study scripture, we see that Christ has given us (believers) power over the enemy and his demons, this means as a Christian you should be living a life of freedom due to the authority you have.

When you know you carry authority, you don’t fear, look at the traffic officers they only raise a hand to stop a vehicle and it stops because authority they carry, they don’t need to first raise a gun for a car to stop. This is power of authority.

In simple terms authority is delegated power, as Christians Christ has given us all power.
Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. (NKJV)
The source of our power, strength and authority is Lord.

But this power that gives the authority comes through knowledge, if you are ignorant of the power that Christ has given you, then you can’t exercise authority.

Child of God, are you being troubled or afflicted by the devil through sickness, lack and all things that limit your freedom and joy, just understand the power Christ has given you, and exercise your authority for greater is he that is in you than that who is in the world.
