*Luke 9:1-2 (KJV);* Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.
And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.
*THE BELIEVER AUTHORITY I*
A believer’s power and authority are two potent legacies that are highly irresistible beyond any man’s imagination.
However, it is unfortunate that many Christian can not recognize them. This is the reason why the devils batters them on the every side.
As a result of this ignorance, the victor becomes a victim of circumstances.
Power is the ability to perform a function and this is what Jesus Christ has made available to all His genuine Christians.
Authority is more valuable than power because you can have the ability to do something , but if you don’t have authority, you may not be able to.
In Luke 9:1 , the power and authority to perform have been given to us by our Lord Jesus Christ. The power to live above every things is made available the work of redemption that Jesus Christ wrought at Calvary.
When you come to Jesus Christ and believe that He came to save you from the power of sin, He will not only forgive you, but will also give the power to go and sin no more.
