SUBMISSION

*Study scripture:* _Exodus 32:11-12- And Moses besought the Lord his God, and said, Lord, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand? Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and say, For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against thy people. *(KJV)*_

*SUBMISSION*

Often times when ‘submission’ is spoken of, our minds drive us to the wife and husband point of view. Looking at submission in this direction, we speak about honour, respect and understanding they that cover you spiritually.

In today’s discussion, I would like to mention something about those who stand in the office to whom we submit to. These could be our spiritual fathers, leaders, and parents.

The story in Exodus 32 is of the children of Israel making for themselves a god to worship while Moses was still in the mountain with the Lord; the Lord gets angry and desires to consume them and make a great nation out of Moses.

As a minister of God, Moses attitude towards the wrath of God for his people should teach that you can turn the destinies of they that are submitted to you, for the glory of God.

Moses reminded the Lord of His promise to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and because of that God changed his thought towards His people.

The children of Israel were going to be consumed because of their disobedience toward God but as a spiritual father, Moses sought the Lord to restore their destiny and purpose.

It is to your glory as a minister to make sure that the people submitted to you don’t walk out of purpose and not to lose them. That is why you are there to guide, teach, mentor and pray for their preservation.

You stand in the office where you can directly approach God and cause Him to change his mind concerning their destiny.

*Prayer*:
I exalt your name master. You are worthy of all honor and praise. Thank you for the truth you have revealed unto me. As a minister, I preserve they that are submitted to me through prayer and my relationship with you. I walk in purpose because I am led of your Spirit in the name of Jesus Christ.
