_Hebrew 13:15 EasyEnglish. So we should always continue to thank God. We should say how great and how good he is. That is our sacrifice to him, because Jesus helps us. Then we will always be offering this gift to him while we speak his name._
*SPIRITUAL SACRIFICES 1: SACRIFICES OF PRAISE.*
In the KJV our opening scripture says “let us offer the sacrifices of praise…” In the old testament they used to offer sacrifices of bulls and goats consistently, however a higher revelation was revealed that the lord requires sacrifices of praise rather than bulls and goats.
All of us have mouths to speak so that we are without excuse. If God had asked goats and sheep, many of us would be with excuses seeing we may not have the necessary requirements but God gave us mouths to offer sacrifices. Your mouth is not just for eating, it is a place for offering spiritual sacrifices. It’s an altar.
When you understand this, you will realise that it is one of our ministries as priests, praising God continuosly in each and every situation. So we ought to know how to praise God. Some people speak words and they think that they are praising God yet they are complaining.
Every time you praise God, you are fulfilling your ministry as a priest. That’s one of our priestly duties. Every time, everyday, every hour, every second always praise God in the beauty of holiness, say something that magnifies his name, nature, being and essence instead of always complaining about what has not been done.
