PURPOSED PRAYER 2

STUDY SCRIPTURE
1 Kings 3:9-10 So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great people of yours?” The Lord was pleased that Solomon had asked for this.

PURPOSED PRAYER 2.
From this scripture, Solomon never asked for wisdom as many people always think. He asked God for something that had been lost from the time of the fall of man. In Genesis 2:17 (but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”) We see God commanding man and the woman not to eat from this tree but then we see in our theme scripture Solomon provoking God for a certain glory which had been lost before.
And when we continue to read through the scriptures in verse 12 (1 Kings 3:12 I will do what you have asked. I will give you a wise and discerning heart, so that there will never have been anyone like you, nor will there ever be.). God gave Solomon what he had asked for and even more.
Brethren we have access to greater things in the spirit that in case when we have grasped them, then we have more than we can imagine.
