PRUNED BY GOD III

*John 15:2 (NKJV);* Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.

*PRUNED BY GOD III*

When God prunes you, the first thing He deals with is your will. The second thing is your place of understanding.

The place of understanding is in how we connect to the Spirit of revelation. God deals with your understanding because this defines how you relate with Him.

All of us are at different levels in the way we understand God. We see Him differently, based on our experiences with Him and how yielded we are to His Word and to His presence.

As He consecrates you, He deals with your vision of Him, that is, how you see Him. A pruned Christian does not see God the way that an unpruned Christian would.

For example, certain things or people in our lives are a hindrance to how we must see God. Because they make us dependent on them and not the Lord. When He takes them away, it affords us the opportunity to see Him as our source of provision, wisdom and strength. When this happens, a pruned Christian sees elevation while an unpruned Christian sees suffering because He cannot see the love of God in this form of chastisement.

Pruning causes us to see God in the purity of the Spirit. This purity means that we see Him how He wants us to see Him and not through the lens of our own hopes, desires and aspirations.

*GOLDEN NUGGET:* Pruning causes us to see God in the purity of the Spirit. This purity means that we see Him how He wants us to see Him and not through the lens of our own hopes, desires and aspirations.

*PRAYER:* Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. I thank You for the Spirit of revelation that unveils my eyes to see You with purity. I understand You deeper than what circumstances can communicate because I am pruned. I am not swayed by events but look beyond them to Your plans and purposes because my vision of You is clear. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
