PETER, JOHN AND JAMES.

*Study scripture: * _Luke 9:28-29-And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray. And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering._

*PETER, JOHN AND JAMES. *

One of the Lord’s favourites throughout the course of his earthly ministry were Peter, John and James. These at least had an opportunity to know the deeper side of Jesus than any other person at that time. They were his immediate favourites.

Just like Jesus Christ,it is possible for a minister of God to allow you be part of his favourite team. You could be among the few he calls for a prayer meeting or sharing that the rest are not invited for, or always around as he performs miracles. But you have great accountability for it.

It was not just for granted that he picked those three. Look at another section where he rised the dead, *_Luke 8:51-And when he came into the house, he suffered no man to go in, save Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden._* These were always the immediate eye witnesses of the things that happened with Jesus.

It is no coincidence that by divine inspiration of the Holy Spirit,among all the disciples are Peter, John and James permitted to have a full epistle in the bible as the spirit of God inspired men to write the word and compile it. They were intimate eye witnesses compared to the rest.

As you crave to be next to a minister of God and be continually in his circle,recognise that you carry an accountability of everything that happens within and without him. It is not just prestigious to be an eyes witness of everything he does and being around him.

Peter, John and James did not just have it as a sensual earthly opportunity and pleasure to experience the inner life of Christ but had a responsibility of representing those things for which cause the Holy Spirit permits them to have epistles in his Holy book compared to other apostles.

Dear Lord Jesus, I thank you so much for allowing me to be an eyewitness of the things that happen in my ministry and pastor’s life. I receive the ability to hold a responsibility and accountability for each of those experiences in the spirit in Jesus name.
