PARABLE OF THE SOWER 1

*Study scripture:* _Mathew 13:4 – And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:_

*PARABLE OF THE SOWER 1*

What is the implication of the seeds that fell by the way side? *Mathew.13:19 – When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.*

As a Christian and a student of the word, how often do you take time to ponder about and understand the word of God that comes to you? Everytime you do not understand the word of God, Satan steals that word from your heart.

Many christians pray and tell Satan to bring back their marriages, husbands,wives, children,money,jobs etc. But that is all ignorance gone on rampage. There is nothing of yours Satan has ever taken. The only thing he took is the word.

The devil does not have any one’s destiny or car even. It is absolutely wrong to tell Satan to “vomit your stuff” in your prayers. He will never “vomit” your house because you did not give it to him and the truth is that he does not have it. Satan only steals the word of God from christians who do not understand it.

Everytime you hear the word of God either through a sermon,or devotion, preacher and you do not labour to understand it. The wicked one steals that word from your heart. It does not matter how many sermons you have listened to,it matters what extent of understanding you have attained.

The only thing the wicked one has hidden from sons of men is the word. He knows the power of the word. It is through the word of God that Elohim created the world.
*(Hebrews 11:3).* The wicked one takes away the word that you may never create anything.

Many christians have listened to sermons about healing but are sick. Sermons about prosperity but are poor. This is because they did not understand that word and as a result,the wicked one took it away and they could not bring forth fruit.

Make it your individual responsibility to understand the things that are shared in church. Fellowships and devotions. The extent to which you understand is the extent to which you bring forth fruit.

*Nugget:* Everytime you do not understand the word of God,the wicked one comes and steals away from you. Satan does not have your wife, family, children, spouse etc. The only thing he took is the word you never understood. Labor to understand it always.

*Prayer:*
I decree and declare that unto me it has been given to understand the word of God. The word brings forth fruit in my life in its fullness to the glory of God.
