2 Corinthians 2:14 – Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.
*Our victory and triumph in Christ*
The scripture is amazing. He tells us that “now thanks be to God.” He does not say we shall thank him after he has done the miracle. Neither does he say we thanked him already. God tells that now is the time to give thanks unto him.
All of us christians are supposed to live lives of thanksgiving in all things. This is because our testimony of victory has been accomplished through Christ Jesus. Your story of triumph is not based on your abilities but on the abilities of Jesus Christ.
So in Christ Jesus,I now understand that I have triumphed over all manner of infirmities. Jesus has taken my place in all things and I have taken on his place in all things. When you look to the story of Christ,you now come to realize that the victory belongs to you.
God does not cause us to triumph only when things are good. Neither does he do it only when we are qualified for it by our efforts. In the mind of God, your story is supposed to be a story of triumph always. He is always ready to save and deliver you from anything.
_1 Corinthians.15:57 – “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”_ Your victory in life over sickness does not merely come because of how healthy you can keep yourself,it comes because by the stripes of Jesus you were healed.
Your victory over poverty does not merely come because you have toiled hard to earn a living. God gives you the victory over poverty because Jesus was rich but he became poor for your sake that you through his poverty might be made rich. The victory over poverty is through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Your victory and triumph over sin does not come because of what extent you are preserving your self from iniquity. It only comes because Jesus was made sin, that we being dead to sin might be made the righteousness of God in Christ.
In all these things,you realize that all our victory and triumph is wrapped in the life of Jesus. Do not look at your skin color, family background and career. Look beyond those and see the victory God has availed to you through Jesus Christ.
Choose to live a life of thanksgiving in all things. It is a done deal. Thank God for your career is perfected. Thank him your family is victorious. Thank him for the triumph in your academics.

*Nugget:* God does not only save you when all your qualities deserve salvation. He is always ready to give you victory whether you are qualified or not. This is because your victory over circumstances is not based on your labour, but wrapped up in what Jesus has accomplished and done for you. He gives you victory because of Jesus. It is in and through Jesus that we have victory.

Thank you Jesus for the victory over all situations in life. I live in triumph and victory through your name. I am a wonder unto whoever sees me in Jesus name.
