*OUR FEEDING PATTERNS 3*
Job 29:6 KJV *When I washed my steps with butter,* and the rock poured me out rivers of oil;
In our theme scripture we are told that job washed his steps with butter. This is a spiritual language meaning that butter is a form of spiritual food that washes your steps, for a person who has transitioned into feeding on butter, his steps are always ordered of the lord.
We are told that when you are babies, then you will be tossed to and fro by any kind of doctrine that passes you. That is why today a baby can believe that they are righteous then tomorrow they are decieved again into thinking that they are unrighteous or a sinner. They are unstable. The Bible says they are unskilled in the word of righteousness.
So in the realm of feeding on milk, you can easily be decieved if not submitted under true doctrine. However as you grow, the things that order your steps begin to reduce. Not all things can Instruct you. You begin to understand when the psalmist says that your word is a lamp to my feet and a light unto my path, you understand what Jesus was meaning when he said sanctify them through thy truth, thy word is truth.
In the level of butter which is the second level in our feeding patterns, your feet begins to be prepared for the gospel of peace because the feet represents the carrying of the gospel.
As you feed on butter, you get to realise that it is not about you but it is all about the gospel of peace, it’s all about the gospel of Jesus Christ hallelujah glory to God. Here you begin doing things not just for you but for the gospels sake.

*Nugget:* In the level of butter which is the second level in our feeding patterns, your feet begins to be prepared for the gospel of peace because the feet represents the carrying of the gospel.
*Confession* father I thank you that I understand this truth, I thank you that everyday you wash my steps with the butter of your word in order to order my steps in you as I walk in you. It is a privilege to serve with you, in Jesus name amen
