Of Spiritual Maturity 1

Gen.17.1 – And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.

*Of Spiritual Maturity 1*
We have all been called to places of growth in God because you see; Maturity in God is what keeps us consistent with the things of the Spirit.
In our theme scripture, God tells Abram to walk before him, many at this stage miss the point in that many haven’t understood what it means to walk before God.

See this; Col.2.6 – *As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:Col.2.7 – Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith*, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. When he tells Abram that walk before me, we must understand that to us, *through Christ we have been positioned to Walk in Him*, hallelujah.

Now that Hebrew word for *Be perfect* can also mean *be blameless, be mature*. In other words *God told Abram to walk before him and be mature,* so Maturity meets people who have learnt how to walk in Jesus Christ. So saints maturity comes because we’re taught in Christ Jesus, as we sit under the word we gain consistency with the anointing, consistency with the spirit of Prayer, consistency with the ministry of the Gospel. That’s why the teaching of this message is emphasized.
*hallelujah!!*

*Further study* John 15:3, 2Corinth3:18, Proverbs 23:23.

*Nugget:* Maturity in God is what keeps us consistent with the things of the Spirit. So saints maturity comes because we’re taught in Christ Jesus, as we sit under the word we gain consistency.

*Prayer* Father we thank you for this truth, we are being rooted and established in the Faith. We desire your word more than necessary food. In Jesus name, Amen!!
