*Of knowledge and understanding 2* .
It is always easy to have a man with knowledge to do for you something than instructing an ignorant man. Thats why for any engineering work, a company can’t hire a secretary nor can an aviation company hire a taxi driver for a pilot vacancy.

Likewise, it is a God set pattern; that before the conception of any vision, ministry or any mandate of God upon your life, he firstly has to grow you in knowledge. Before the conception of a child, man has to know his wife! Without knowing your spouse, a child cant be concieved: thus intimacy is likened to attaining knowledge.

Even at the supernatural birth of Jesus, the Angel first had to let Mary “know” what was going to happen to her, because it is a pattern. Jesus as a Child studied the word and grew in it because he was showing us a pattern (Luke 2:52) Child of God, before God entrusts you with that ministry, before you concieve his vision concerning your life, God desires you firstly know and understand Him. It’s only by the knowledge of His word that you will know His will for His people, and His mode of ministry to the world.

It is good to desire the places of Greatness and that is what God wills for you, but He much more desires that you are not destroyed by the snares that come with these places, therefore He invites you to get to know Him by His word, to grow your roots such that you are firm, so that you are not like them whose zeal of service is with ignorance (Romans 10:2), such that you not like those who He doesnt know yet they serve Him (Matthew 7:22-23). Knowledge and understanding are the tickets to the approvals in the Spirit. Selah!
