*1 Corinthians 4:15* ; _For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the Gospel._

*Of fathers 2.*
As we know more about Spiritual Fathers, lets first see; Who are instructors? An instructor is one who provides spiritual enlightenment, clarity in scripture and doctrine. The men of God to whom you tune in to listen, follow sermons on social media and televisions, you maybe attend their fellowships physically at times due to the good report you’ve heard about them or because they surely bless you.

[Genesis 27:6-10]: This story clearly distinguishes the two: it was Isaac that had the inheritance and blessing which Jacob needed, but Rebekah directed Jacob on how to obtain this blessing. Spiritual inheritance determines who our Fathers are. Instructors however like Rebekah, however much advise they give to us they don’t have our inheritance. They should as well be pointing us to our fathers for the blessing.

See most of us want to identify with certain cool and deep Man of God, elegant churches, huge followings, but when certainly you know that it’s a certain man of God in your home town or village that prayed for you to get where you are at, there’s a certain man who fasted and provided opportunities for your growth as a minister, and verily, I tell you: the heavens acknowledge this man as your source of inheritance not that cool man of God. In fact, there’s a man right now asking himself why he isn’t prospering yet other men in the same ministry he has dedicated his life to, are prospering. How about we let scriptures direct us on this matter! [2 Timothy 3:16]

Saul was David’s instructor pertaining the kingdom issues but Samuel was his Spiritual father. David could only be recognised as King by both heavens and the men on earth, by virtue of Samuel anointing him [1 Samuel 16:13]. His inheritance was with Samuel, though Saul was the king. Have you known where your inheritance is?

_Judge spiritual things by spiritual patterns. Spiritual inheritance determines who your Father is. Your father mayn’t be that popular or “anointed” as it seems, but heavens acknowledge him as the source of your inheritance. Treasure him._

Heavenly father in Jesus’ name. Thank you for inheritance I have here on earth. I walk in its fulfilment and in your perfect will by the respect I have for my Father. Amen.
