MYSTERY OF GODLINESS 1 (GOD MANIFEST IN FLESH)

*Study scripture*: _1Timothy 3:16 KJV And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: *GOD WAS MANIFEST IN THE FLESH*, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory._

*MYSTERY OF GODLINESS 1 (GOD MANIFEST IN FLESH)*

One of the greatest mysteries spoken of in the word of God is the mystery of godliness. And Paul goes on and says God was manifest in the flesh. Many find it hard to believe that Jesus is God. The reason is that they want to understand it with their carnal minds. However, the scriptures testify of him as being God. We are told in John 1:1 that _…the word was God…_

Then in John 1:14, scriptures tell us that the _…word was made flesh and dwelt among us…_ This concerns Jesus because he was the word made flesh. God put on flesh and dwelt among us, some couldn’t believe it, many doubted it because they didn’t think that God can ever come in flesh.

When Jesus walked the earth, God walked the earth, when Jesus healed the sick, cast out devils, cleansed lepers, God was doing so hallelujah glory to God. When John saw it, he called him the TRUE GOD, when Thomas saw him, he called him his GOD AND LORD, when Paul wrote to Titus, he called him the GREAT GOD. When you see him, what testimony do you have of him?

The greatest testimony came from the father himself. The father called Jesus God. _*Hebrews 1:8-9, 8 But to the Son God says, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of thy kingdom. 9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hast anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows*_. The testimony of the father stands sure.

*NUGGET*
When you believed Jesus Christ, you believed God, when you see Jesus Christ, you have seen God. Some people say they have seen Jesus Christ and again they say God is invisible and cannot be seen, those are people who saw him but without the testimony that he is God. Jesus is the TRUE GOD, there is no other, whoever rejects Jesus Christ has rejected God.
