MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS

*Study scripture: * _1 Thessalonians 4:11-And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;_

*MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS. *

A lot of the worlds’ greatest population has actually invested more time in knowing about others and not themselves. Many want to know what is happening in someone’s relationship,career,ministry etc but have not taken time to mind on what belongs to them.

One thing you should understand as a Christian is that God wants you to mind your own business and become productive. Many individuals are not impactful and productive because they spend lots of hours trying to care more about what pertains to other men than themselves.

The greatest business God has called you to mind is the purpose and ministry he has called you for personally. Remember on the day of judgement you shall give an account of your works. How much effort have you invested to do the business God assigned to you more than trying to know what is happening around others?

Jesus was zealous for the fathers business and was mindful of it. _*Luke 2:49 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father’s business?_* Before you engage in the affairs of other people’s ministries,marriages,relationships etc,labour to mind and make profit in the business your father in heaven as assigned to you.

*_1 Peter 4:15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters._ * God has not called us to be busybodies in other people’s matters. Do not exist as a person who is only interested in knowing and engaging in what happens in other people’s lives in all your conversations.

Make up your mind today to keep quiet,concentrate and mind your business God has given to you. It could be ministry,business,relationship etc. Do not exist as a busybody only interested in engaging and participating in matters that do not concern you. Mind your business first before you mind others.

I thank you father in heaven for this message this morning. I appreciate you for teaching me to learn to mind my own business. I pray that your grace helps participate in what you have called me for and I will not end up as a busybody in the name of Jesus Christ.
